Blue-Eyed Devil (Travises, #2) by Lisa Kleypas
It was that good! Gage was always the one she could turn to when she was growing up.
There is something so enduring, so distinct about Hardy’s essence. I just can’t see myself EVER putting up with what she dealt with and it wasn’t just at the hands of her despicable husband. Showing of reviews. There’s a problem loading this menu right now.
Most women would be in hysterics by now. In Jack’s view, you are obliged to sin on Saturday night so you’d have something to atone for Sunday morning. I guess those little hits to the self-esteem in your childhood really do leave you with permanent scars.
Her ex shows up the picture again creating added strain and danger. She was pushed and told how and what she was supposed to be.
I didn’t get that from her.
The dissection of the abusive relationship was handled with surgeon-like precision, the blade cutting so deeply, it made me shiver. Sorry to disappoint you, but most of men would be pretty hysterics too.
Haven Travis was just an amazing heroine throughout this book as she had kleyas go through domestic abuse caused by her former husband and for awhile, she could not trust anyone with her issues and was afraid to get close to any man she had contact with. At least until Hardy has eyef “enlightening” encounter with his father and takes a deal that Churchill Travis and his friend with him, meaning he had to cut off all contact with Haven.
She was a wonderful heroine.
I kept wondering when Haven was finally going to say enough is enough. Despite her family’s money, she refuses to set out on the path they’ve chosen for her.
There is so much in this book that calls to my book-loving soul. She starts working at a property management office for her brother, Jack. Although maybe that’s not surprising at all in the sense that I never doubted Lisa Kleypas’ klepyas to write a beautiful, enjoyable book. When kleypaz book came out inI drove to my local Borders and grabbed a copy just as soon as they opened for the day.
Any romance fan, but especially a must read for Kleypas fans. Blue-Eyed Devil is, in essence, a continuation of the first book more so than most sequelspicking up where the first leaves off and maintaining significant kkeypas of many of the original characters.
It just about broke my heart. I was a bit worrie This won’t be much of a review because I’m dying to get back to Smooth Talking Stranger which I already started.
And yes, it was awesome to see Gage again and the kind of man we knew he was. And not only was I thankful for that but I, for b,ue, was relieved when Kleypas chose to move on. I often felt like I had been there, both in situations with my family, friends, and with co-workers or bosses. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. Honestly, in the beginning, I was completely irritated by Haven; I know I’m might come off as a bitch for saying this, but I couldn’t believe that she was so clueless that there was something wrong with Nick, not herself.
When he comes to Haven’s apartment to talk to eyee, he walks in on Nick holding a gun on her and trying to rape her again. Not by his smell, the way he kisses, the size of certain things?

She was a Travis so there were certain things you assumed about her. Al igual que en la primera entrega, esta novela se puede dividir en dos momentos: I liked that Kleypas kept his hell-rising personality. Amazon Music Stream millions of songs. I highly recommend Blue-Eyed Devil and will definitely be going on in the series.
Hardy really steps up and redeems himself. I wanted to cry bitter tears for Haven. He reached out and pulled the sides of the shirt closed, an used the backs of his fingers to stroke my cheek. Hardy listened to Haven and dyed to be what she needed. I know what you think, because I thought it too.
