It is to his credit that despite the fact that most people are innumerate and are put off by complicated mathematics, Radin has found a niche in the popular media. In science, the acceptance of new ideas follows univsrse predictable, four-stage sequence. Two factors combine to make Radin’s evidence persuasive. Dualism leaves open fadin question as uniferse whether psi involves the ability of consciousness to receive or transfer information without physical means altogether or whether there are physical processes occurring that we are as yet unable to detect.
Radin’s is best for the data and the sections on psychology and metaphysics, but overall, I think Broughton has written a clearer and better introduction to the topic. I guess I was greedy and I wished for more stories and further elaborations, but for these, and thanks to the author, I am going to be checking interesting works such as Mental Radio and Fantasms of the Living, all of which are available as pdf books online for free download.

It is a heavy read, if not a little boring ujiverse places, and many will not see the journey out. To be sure, the meta-analyses he cites sure sound impressive, but I still don’t really understand what they mean.

The other major issue I had with Radin’s book is that his use of statistics is convoluted and poorly explained. The ‘Quantum Entanglement’ Of Love: Those chapters I give a I recommend that anyone interested in the concept of consciousness as it relates to physics and the physical world consider this book.
On the bright side, Radin does a marvellous job of explaining statistics and the meaning thereof so that even people who have never before heard of the words ‘standard deviation’ can understand what statistics do and how they are used. The skeptics may agree that there are statistical oddities that have been experimentally produced. Lists with This Book. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone interested in the subject.
