The single most loaned out book in my library. Because many people now hike with a smartphone or GPS, the book includes specific waypoint coordinates, which people can load into a device to help guide them. Each route features at least one or more significant botanical, cultural, or geological highlight with detailed information about what makes each one special. It describes routes ranging from brief, family-friendly hikes to multiple-day overnight trips in remote regions of the backcountry, providing equal weight to the scenic and recreational value of each trip.

I like Schad’s guide so far.
