I liked Christian in the beginning of the book; I loved who he became by the end. He took a deep breath. And definitely no falling for his new roommate-tattooed bad-boy Max, who may or may not be a drug dealer.
I think Max described Christian perfectly: I liked him a lot, but there was definitely a lot to his volunteer work and the fact that his parents were trying to get him to come back to Jesus.
