For a couple of years, I wanted to write about Arduin, but your tribute said so much so well that I struggled to find anything to add. Arduin was that first game that I thought really went outside of the box. When Dave passed I had one character held in a stasis bubble under a tomb we were the first explorers of, waiting to be grrimoire as an avatar of a minor god. Glad you enjoyed the review. There were few limits. The Arduin books told GMs and players that they should not believe in limits.

Hargrave further distanced himself from controversy by using white-out and typing correction tape to mask all direct references to Dungeons and Dragons, and then the volumes were reprinted exactly that way.
