The thing is, you could sit down and pick holes in this, but somehow, someway, like Duke Grayson, it dume through on its charm. If I ha It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t very good either.

While the story was fun dimify read, not enough time is spent fleshing out the characters – so much contradiction. The best stuff, anyway.
A myth is supposed to re-materialize at year intervals. I am farther into the third book and now realize that the second book is about some characters from the first book, however the second book actually took place prior to the first book.

Nancy Atherton is not a white-haired Englishwoman with a softly wrinkled face, a wry smile, and wise gray eyes, nor does she live in a thatched cottage behind a babbling brook in a tranquil, rural corner of the Cotswolds.

This second book in the Aunt Thd series defies easy classification just as much as the first did and was just as enjoyable as the first.
And she’d love to meet you. Well the romance is but not the mystery element. This is the 2nd in the series, and Tue enjoyed it very much. Be cuke first to ask a question about Aunt Dimity and the Duke. A Dimity-contrived coincidence brings her to Penford Hall, a sprawling Gothic mansion in Cornwall, where she finds a duke in search of a missing lantern with extraordinary powers.
How has the Duke raised the money to begin restoring long-neglected Penford Hall? They are a great book to pickup if you want something easy and fun to read-a nice casual book. I was a bit all over the map today, and I just wanted a nice story.

Emma goes to England to look at gardens, gets sent by twin Pym sisters to a specific location where she finds mysteries and of course, love. Apparently Aunt Dimity sent them to meet our American lass and send her to repair the gardens of a Duke.
