When I first saw this book I saw that it was in the new book section and since it was about vampires I am usually in and when I read the synopsis I thought that this would be a great sci fi adventure book but little did I know that it was also an adult book lol so when I got to the first heated section which didnt take long, I was like The story contains a lot of over-used tropes like a dog barking in the distance and an owl hooting at just the right moments, but manages to retain its readability anyway.
