Thanks Fractal, Peace, Steve. I did a reset by holding down the “name” button and clicking it on, then when the asterisks showed which was right away I hit the “up” program and that did nothing. I don’t know if this will be of help, but did you try a factory reset?

I run many different things through any of the gear I have including the TSR and at some time I probably ran a drum machine through for using the reverb or flange or whatever. It does the sound on all patches or programs even the ones without the hsr, but I’ll try recording silence and see if that does it.

Seriously, you can do A LOT better for a minimal price: Roctrock Ysr, Replifex, etc I had one for years and thought that it was great. This is my second unit. I’ve tried powering down and back up. Just recently it and I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s what’s going on has a faint sound of a drum loop just a few beats and a crash cymbal, so like approximately one measure in it along with when I feed guitar or whatever else through.

The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with defects or irregularities. I know that there are better ones out there, but for what i need and do this thing is perfect. As for the Input and Output level knobs on the front panel It was because of the stark contrast to that unit and just about every other late 80’s-early 90’s unit that I swore of Digitech for ever.
