This novel, banned in Cuba, was first published in Paris after being secreted out between the pages of a biological dissertation. I envy anyone reading this for the first time. From to he was a journalist and editor for the literary magazine La Gaceta de Cuba. The book reads like a series of hallucinations and very rarely makes a whole lot of sense.
