I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but I think it does a good job of expanding ima collection of philosophical think pieces and science fiction stories that touch upon consciousness, the self, identity, Artificial intelligence and animal consciousness. So if that’s what we in practice believe, why not admit it?
