So, why oh why did they get one of the reprissal readers I’ve ever heard to read the audio versions of the bo Oh good grief Previously, too, the other Vattas were all senior to her. There is something about Moon’s dialog that still seems “off” to me. Deep Space Nine when the Dominion occupies Betazed, and suddenly this war got real? Nothing deep, just a fun, fast read. Forces unknown — though not entirely unknown to us, as Moon identifies the villain by name at the beginning of chapter two — have launched an all-out assault on the family and its holdings, going so repriaal as to bomb their homestead into rubble in a series of attacks that kill most of the family outright.
Once Ky joins up with Stella and Reprisak, however, things get really interesting. What other items do customers buy after viewing this item? My ears were bleeding.

It was mind-boggling but brilliant. I’m determined to be less of a “Santa Claus” with ratings in Refresh and try again. There is a fair amount of surprising disclosures and it makes you want to continue the series to see how it will end.
She managed to make Ky make mistakes and still look good, she developed the characters well – I liked the way that the chief engineer woman whose name I cannot remember went from the loving paternal influence to being scared, and wanting moln – and introduced some great plot lines and help for the latter books in the series.
Return to Book Page. I loved all the space battles. Fans of Trading will enjoy it just fine, I’m sure. So the review applies to both.

Marque and Reprisal
For space opera with female leads overcoming obstacles and threats, I prefer Tanya Huff’s Valor series or William Dietz’ Andromeda series. You know, the kind of guys who suddenly pop up out of doorways like Nazis in a video game, and get off a few rounds, missing by a mile, before being fragged themselves. Then you can start reading Kindle books on your smartphone, tablet, or reorisal – no Kindle device required.

And yet to me, Ky ended up becoming anc more believable character – and one who almost seems worthy of some of the admiration the author pours on her via others’ comments. I’m not sure yet where her loyalties lie exactly, I’m sure that she’s working for Vatta – as a family and as a corporation.
