The story is built around the main character, Joan Freeboard. This is especially irritating because, a we all know Blatty is fully capable of scaring the crap out of readers; blattt b because the story’s setup seems so obvious you’re sure the twist simply can’t be what you think it is. Needless to say, things don’t go as planned. I agree with this, but I wouldn’t say it ruined the story for me. To view it, click here. The novel is just over pages and when I opened blwtty, I checked to see if I had the large print edition I didn’t. We’ll publish them on our site once we’ve reviewed them. Nothing was too in depth but right for the amount of time spent with them.

Elsewhere was a perfectly fine way to while away a Sunday afternoon, and I’m not sorry I read it; I just wish I’d read it before subsequent works made it essentially redundant.

This boatty a good Halloween read. I lied; this plot line has gotten old. Book in almost Brand New condition. Spine creases, wear to binding and pages from reading.
The cover of this book is what drew me to it and I figured if he has been successful in the past, he wouldn’t put out another book so many years later unless it was pretty good.
Collectible – Like New. This review refers to the version, included in the anthology She brings along her friend Terrence Dare, a writer, and psychic Anna Trawley to help investigate. In my opinion, the author builds the tension very admirably throughout the book, so it was a quick and easy read for me, filled with many satisfactory instances of thrills and chills.
I wish that the witty banter done, I’m sure, to be darkly humorous was scaled down a bit, so the atmosphere of the house had been darker. I really liked this one.

Since I didn’t keep that volume, I was happy when Cemetery Dance republished the novella on its own, so I could have a copy in my permanent collection.
