The short story starts with a kind of adult hide and seek, with Merrick’s brother bowing out. If you’re going to read the series, start at book 1, I think you’ll find it much more interesting. Even though I wish there were more books in this series, its nice to have everthing work gast at the end of a book for a change.
She realizes that magic exists and so do witches. She is cornered by the brothers, Roane walks away leaving the way clear for snya and Merrick to become mates.
I don’t enjoy reading about acid like blood, red eyes, sharp rolls of teeth, and raw meat breath. I liked how upbeat Sarafina was, it was a good contrast to Theo.
Same thing with most of the dialogue, save for book 3 since Claire was a whole different game of character twists. Tranquility is the sequel. Became monotonously predictable, WAY too much sex and I like a little dirty business in my books and not enough about the magick or character development.

Sarafina Connell has had a difficult life. There’s nothing basf wrong with that, for most readers, but figured I’d share for those it might bother. The problem is that she had no idea she was a powerful fire witch and she really hates people who kidnap her. It’salso got some hot sexy steamy scenes that will blow your mind and have you on the edge of your seat. One day she was taken from her home by strange men led by none other than Stefan. In a world that I love, with witches and warlocks and demons and characters that are very interesting and dynamic you can’t help but love this series. Doin’ It Dirty 2. Awe how cute, so romantic they’re going to have sex in the woods Which while they were pretty erotic and in any other situation I would be lapping up, to me could only be Quick thoughts: Fury is part one of a two part series.

I was expecting to see more character development while reading, but that was cut short obviously. Some of my annoyance was due to continuity baet – don’t authors have proofreaders and editors anymore? The author, Anya Bast found just the right mix of action, intrigue and romance to make the book an exciting read. Hard as a Rock. I think the author could have benefitted from picking a different archetype.
Honestly I wasn’t enjoying the book anyway but that just finished it for me. What I’d really like to know is why ‘alpha male’ so often translates into unmitigated jerk.
