Honestly: My Life and Stryper Revealed
All in all, Sfryper felt this yonestly lived up to its title with an honest recounting of the life of a professional musician with all its highs and lows. Maybe you’ve lost or simply matured beyond such simple faith and you’re riddled with doubts and questions, though you still at stfyper WANT stryperr believe. From the creation of the signature Stryper guitar sound to his stint touring with Boston and the tragic loss of his beloved wife Kyle, Sweet spares no expense when looking back on his life as husband, father, bandmate and Christian.
My copy of this book is autographed. Michael seemingly implies that his band mates hold him back, and that he must remain ever-vigilant in protecting Stryper from their lousy ideas, poor business sense, and sub-par songwriting contributions.
I was just very surprised by how much I relate to him: This book in many ways felt like Dave Mustaine and Dave Elefsons biographies. They were an anomaly – an unabashedly Christian band having its music videos played on MTV alongside the likes of Motley Crue and Poison.
I can’t imagine this book won’t be responsible for creating quite a bit of drama if the other members happen to read it! I highly recommend this book not only to Stryper and Michael Sweet fans but anyone who wants to experience what it was like to be apart of a rock and roll band. So, I stryperr appreciate Michael’s honesty in this book.

And then there’s the constan I liked hearing about the origins of Stryper and the factors that led to their demise in the early 90s. Perhaps they rushed it out too quickly.
Honestly is more than just a biography or reflection of old road stories. Moderately slow ballad Metronome: I have been a Stryper fan ever since I was about 12 and discovered their music without having the slightest clue who they were.

Better than I expected. It’s not every day a Christian singer starts off a book by admitting to drinking, swearing too much, and enjoying the occasional smoke–all within the very first parag HONESTLY is as informative as anything I could have stryprr for, though there are certain aspects of Stryper the jealousy, the infighting of which I’d almost prefer to stdyper ignorant. God has a plan for everyone and they are not all the same.
Being a life long Stryper fan, this was a must read. I felt we had devoted our lives to God, and now this was the “thanks” we got? I thoroughly enjoyed this book, devouring it at lightening speed when I usually savor books quite slowly.
It’s good to hear his side of the story, and I don’t doubt his integrity. Preview — Honestly by Michael Sweet. Michael Sweet is a major DB. This is a book I will re-read over and over. So obviously when vocalist Michael Sweet released this bio, I pre-ordered it immediately.
He reminds me of a roommate I once had, a guy who once roused me out of bed at three in the morning because he was annoyed I left my Nintendo out on the floor in front of the TV.
This is a must read for any fan. Hal Leonard Music Publishing. I also found the tales about the stdyper of the eighties and the demise of the band during the first years of the nineties to be really interesting.

And then there’s the constant whining. I wish at time’s he would go into more detail about making records, touring etc.
Did you at any point ever find yourself questioning your faith? I enjoyed this book much more than most of. This book was very interesting to me because I am a fan, and very eye opening.
Maybe your financial, professional, or personal life is in stryer sort of crisis. This book chronicles the life of Michael, Stryper and his family.
All the good and the bad.
