Caught in a deadly game between the light and dark courts of the Fae, Jane must find a way through the ice to the heart of her Highander. This is a nice little short story. This is a fun story that reminds me of what an amazing writer Moning is.
First read January 08, Re-read February 6th, After the five hundred years he has one month to find love or lose his true self forever. Aibhoil knows this is wrong, and while rdeaming can’t free Aedan, she can give him hope.
Her name is Jane. The next tje sections are the ones I was most looking forward to. This book offers fans very little to justify the price tag. Now called Vengeance, the king has transformed him into an agent of death and destruction.
She is after all a Romance writer, and turns to her talent to try and save the day. I first read it in the spring of when I was on a desperate hunt for clues to discover what the heck Jericho Barrons was and trying to assuage the pain of the wait for Shadowfever. The scene is not great and I agree with the original move to delete it from the novel.
Flash forward to Jane mohing 24 year old aspiring romance novelist who feels out of place in her own generation. Once again I find myself in a desperate wait for Moning to publish her books.

I can tell you that no matter the size and roughness of Aedan, not to mention the good looks, that he was too cute. Aug 15, AnnaLund rated it did not like it. Bytheir contract allows him 1 month in his home. Perhaps if you are a Fever fan you should read this short, it’s only a pages and well worth the backstory!
It is full of beautiful images, which can make you daydream: This novella is billed as Highlander vreaming, but it also has hints of the Fever series. The Unseelie King himself? View all 37 comments. I highly recommend not only this book, but this whole series!!

Jane has one month to realize she’s not dreaming, make Aedan remember who is was, and make him fall in love with her. Since the unseelie king can’t meddle in the mortal world, he sends his Vengeance to do it. She wanted to take Dark Highlander in a different direction, with a different heroine! Opening the iTunes Store. For Fever fans – The Dreaming is a place in between worlds where mortals and fae meet and where true love is preordained. From what I know in Moninh, this makes him sound utterly ridiculous and doesn’t fit but perhaps there is dreaminb loop hole I won’t speculate on.
The additional material more than pageswhich includes a proposal for a romance that was never published and a deleted segment from another book, seems rather self-serving and unnecessary, of interest to only the most die-hard fans. Moning includes an alternate opening to Dark Highlander that she scrapped because she rightfully in my opinion got the storyline wrong. I am still wondering where this book fits into the Highlander Series.
I found Into The Dreaming a good read and true to form. Just an FYI if you haven’t read it. This is Moning at her romantic, funniest finest.
