I’m still willing to give Jelinek, and even this book, another chance — I do like ha I might return to this. She is a receptacle into which Hermann pours his juices, nastily, briefly, brutally.

This is a magnificent piece of art, but there are very few people I would recommend read this book, though it was recommended to me by my Uncle. The relationships are all antagonistic and power-based.
