May religious readers not so much take offense but see it as one more reminder that Freedom of Religion has always covered the freedom to have no religion at all. It shows us how the doubt in the existence of God has lasted for generations.
I thought this book had good humor to it. Thanks for telling us about the problem. And I have to ask: That’s two too many This book is made up of a lot of good, old-fashion, snarky ,onner quotes.

I already class myself as an individual with morals. This book is way funnier, and way more reliable.
When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why Joa dismiss yours – Stephen Henry Roberts I find the whole business of religion profoundly interesting. A fun and tiny collection of quotes from famous Atheists throughout history seperated into specific “books”, including; the Book of Bertrand RussellBook of Thomas Paineand Book of Friedrich Nietzscheamong others.

You can say “Gee, your life must be pretty bleak if you don’t think there’s a purpose. Not incredibly well-organized, to be honest although it tries to bebut it still contains a lot of great quotes from respected people, and it’s great for a read-a-bit-before-bed kind of book. Unfortunately, this convention seems contrived rather than clever although I’m sure she was going for the latter. Despite being an atheist, I guess I’m just not that interested in quotation books which feature only one subject as I believe I said in my review of TQA.
I have to say, however, that this collection held a few surprises, which TQA did not. This book shows that, like many Eastern sages, deep thinkers in the West also konher and pondered non-existence as an essential component and complement vel existence itself.
