The Girl from Summer Hill: Impressionz gave this book a five rating because it was a good story and I enjoyed the characters and how they grew. But sooner or later a woman must come into her own, fisrt that’s what Eden tries to do when she moves to Arundel, North Carolina, to take ownership of Farrington Manor, a beautiful old house filled with charm and memories that was willed to Eden by the person who cared for her when she needed it most.
It has everything you could possibly want in a novel. Amazing This is seriously the best book I have ever read in my life. Kmpressions 09, Denise rated it it was ok.

Her characters were so believable and interesting. Should I say repeat sales? I did like the bits about gardening. I did not really become engaged with the characters and thought much of the plot unrealistic.

I was a bit confused as to who reveraux romantic hero was going to end up being and worried that one of the two men Eden was interested in would turn out not only to not be the hero but the villain, because I really liked them both. This novel did not make a good first impression and unfortunately it didn’t improve any.

Eden Palmer knows how to make it on her own. The plot itself was weak, and because the characters didn’t inject any interest, the plot seemed even less impressive and a bit tenuous.

Eden Palmer knows how to make it on her own. The other big blunder is the book Eden wrote, it hasn’t been published imprfssions everyone seems to have a copy?!? Not one that I would read again, and makes me question whether or not I would want to read another book by Deveraux. Taken in by a Lady of the Manor Eden manages to raise her child in relative comfort until tragic events once more force her to flee her new home. Jude has also stepped outside her milieu, with mixed results.

Customers who bought this item also bought. The charcters are well defined and judw story revolves around impressons old country manor house in North Carolina. I think she’s lost her touch – I’ll be much more careful when purchasing any of her newer books. Farrington doesn’t even mention Brad, until the end and that also in a vague way telling Eden that maybe she should hook-up with one of the younger Granville boys, saying maybe one of them may be good in the sack as her Granville boys.
