I’m not quite as dismissive of astrological influences as I am of much of TA. I know this is true because I have been reading his comments for a long time Still – one of the great advantages of the precision of Larry Pesavento’s comments is that he has committed to come back at the pesavennto of this week and discuss where his forecasts went right or wrong What are investors thinking?

I think Larry is very good and worth listening to. He is now saying we should expect loads of volatility this week and is calling for a Stock market top. LTHM 7th May ‘ I notice that his website doesn’t show his track record, which is suspicious.
He sees this weekend – April 25th, – as a major turn date in the stock markets – as big as the March lows ofwhich he predicted to the day. In reply to post 1. If TA buy and sell signals were no better than random, then those traders would on average lose money after dealing costs, and they would soon find themselves out of a job.

Another straw in the wind was having recently met up with some folks I was at business school with 25 years ago – and I discovered that one of them had just started trading based on astrological forecasts. Shares can go down as well as up.
